CALL FOR ST LOUIS MUSICAL ARTISTS
We are pleased to announce that with support from the Regional Arts Commission, Artbeat St. Louis will be hosting a series of live-audience recorded concerts featuring original St. Louis music.
This series aims to celebrate the sound of our city—spotlighting artists whose work speaks to culture, connection, and creativity. Performances will be professionally filmed (tiny-desk style) and shared across Artbeat’s platforms to amplify the voices shaping STL’s music scene.
For our 2025–2026 concert series, we are seeking solo artists or groups (up to 6 members) performing in the genres of R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, Blues, or Gospel. Each act will perform a set of 3 songs which will be professionally recorded and mixed, and produced as a video.
The series will include three concerts, with three acts performing a 15-minute set in each show. The dates for these shows are September 26, 2025; February 2026 (date TBD); May 2026 (date TBD). Nine acts in total will be selected to perform across these dates.
Submissions for the first show are due by August 19, 2025.

Selection process & requirements
Artists must be based in the Greater St. Louis region & play original songs
Important** Artists must submit the 3 original songs they plan to play in the show
This series is highlighting artists with roots in Blues, R&B, Hip-hop, Jazz, Soul, and Gospel.
The first performance is scheduled for September 26 (must be available that day)
If you are not selected for the first show, your submission will still be considered for future performances in the series
Announcement for the first show will be on August 25
